Arc 1950 - Northern Alpes
ARC 1950
At the heart of the Alps, a car free Village with a Savoyard flavour blends itself into the shape of the Mountains… Set at 1950m, under the benevolent gaze of Mont Blanc and cradled by the Aiguille Rouge, The Village of Arc 1950 enjoys a very special setting.
The gates of Paradiski are open to snow sports enthusiasts while traditional squares and alleyways lined with restaurants, cafes and boutiques are an open invitation to strollers. With its stone slab roofs, timber balconies and car free lanes, the Village brings holidaymakers a new “art of living”.
Between the Vanoise National Park and the Mont Blanc range, is a magical landscape to be explored in both summer and winter.
Situated within the les Arcs area and at the heart of the vast ski area of Paradiski, Arc 1950 offers ski lovers an incredible playground. An immense area of astonishing diversity that combines wide arcing turns with endless downhill runs.
From the Village, just 1 lift takes you to Arc 1800, 1600, 2000 or the Vanoise Express (the cable car linking Les Arcs and La Plagne) and it takes only 3 lifts to reach the Aiguille Rouge (3226m), the highest point in the les Arcs area in a landscape that will take your breath away. Beginners haven’t been forgotten with 41 blue runs in the Les Arcs area alone and one of the longest beginner pistes in Europe, the 7 km la Foret piste at Vallandry.
Those in search of splendour have only to take the Vanoise Express to find themselves looking down on the picturesque Ponthurin Valley from 380m facing the unique view of Mont Blanc, the Swiss and Italian Alps and the Beaufortain range.
