On the north facing slopes of Sancy, the resort of Mont-Dore is based at the foot of the majestic Puy de Sancy (1886m high), it is the highest point in the Massif Central and the source of the Dordogne.

The slopes here and the Mont-Dore resort offer a terrain suitable for every type of skier, steep slopes alongside accessible pistes.

Mont-Dore was one of the first classified stations for winter sports. Today, it is an excellent family destination, Le Mont-Dore combines health, sports and activities in a wonderful natural mountain setting.
