The valley of des Contamines is surrounded by the scenery of the Mont Blanc countryside.

There is the feeling of a hidden valley at the end of the world, driven by the very important closeness between it and the local population.

The village preserves its “historical” nature since more than 70% of the old farms were renovated, by keeping the architecture typically Savoyard.This ski area, situated between 1200m and 2500m of altitude, offers the possibility to ski for every level.
With exceptional snow levels and sunshine the area unravels in front of your eyes, a marvelous panorama of the Mont-Blanc and Beaufortain.

The pistes curve through small valleys, down broad slopes, between fir trees and chalets and rolling mountain pastures. The village is located at the edge of the Massif du Mont Blanc, the high part of the ski area reveals the splendid chain of summits that surround the Mont Blanc and the low part allows you to ski through the forest.
The station is also registered as part of the "Evasion Mont-Blanc" area which is 445km of pistes spread over 6 resorts in the Mont Blanc Countryside. These 6 resorts are Saint Gervais, Megève, Saint Nicolas de Véroce, Combloux and la Giettaz.
