Mijoux is a beautiful village tucked away in an idyllic green valley.

With the first glance, you'll see the mural frescos reflecting artisan skills. Delaying you more, you will discover the richness of the past, a church on the border of the Jura and the inhabitants ready to tell you their history: the work during the winter in the corner by the fire, the manufacture of cheeses and the carved objects from wood to which the craftsmen testify today.

In the summer, the hiking trails take you on a discovery of the flora and fauna preserved in the natural park Régional du Haut Jura. Donky trekking, golfing, summer toboggoning or adventure courses fill your your “nature” holiday agreeably.

In the winter, the whiteness in which the village bathes just invites you to take a walk.  Of if you want to leave from the village you can do cross country and ski touring before coming back to a cosy fondue next to the fire fire…).
