From the village you can access in less than 10 minutes the 5th largest ski area in France with 5 ski resorts (Samoens, Morillon, Sixt Fer a Cheval, Flaine adn Les Carroz). 

Samoens thinks about you and your children and at an altitude of 1600m it's great for beginners with a snow garden to start in and no less than 7 chair lifts:  no steps get to the telecabin Grand Massif Express and the teleski Chateau allowing parents and children to take the same lifts. 

Most importantly, this beginner area is isolated from the other secters allowing you to ski in complete safety, whilst avoiding mixing with different levels of ability.

The restaurant terraces on the piste allow you to benefit from pleasurable moments of calm under in the sun whilst keeping an eye on your children.
