How to choose your ski or snowboard boots?

Choosing your boots is very important in order for you to have a comfortable and an enjoyable day on the piste. Your boots are the link between your body and your ski equipment so it's crucial to get the perfect fit.

A few bits of advice to help you choose your ski boots:
  • Try the shoes on with a pair of socks you'll be skiing in (think thick socks!).
  • Always put both shoes on, our feet are not symmetrical!
  • Put on your boots and fasten the buckles like you were actually skiing and stand up. When you lean forward your toes shouldn't touch the bottom of the shoes and your heel shouldn't take off from the sole. When standing straight, your toes should lightly touch the bottom of the shoes.

Your feet must not be loose in the boots, this ensures you have good control off your skis and helps avoid getting sore feet. If the shoes hurt your feet, don't hesitate to go back to the shop as soon as you can to change it.

A few bits of advice to help you choose your snowboard boots:
  • Try the boots on with a pair of thick socks.
  • Always put both boots on, our feet are not symmetrical!
  • Put your boots on and fasten securely. Your foot must not be loose and your heel must not take off from your boot's sole.

If you follow our advice you'll be sure to enjoy a pair of well fitted boots which will help you master your skis or snowboard. If feet start hurting, don't hesitate to go back to the shop as soon as you can to change it.
