Cheap ski hire Alpe d'Huez

Located in the Grandes Rousses massif, in the Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski area, Alpe d’Huez has long been popular with the French for its breathtaking scenery, its claim of 360 days of sunshine per year, and of course the huge ski terrain. The village is located at 1,860m in a sunny bowl above the valley town of Bourg-d'Oisans, a 90-minute drive south-east of Grenoble, the nearest airport. A family friendly resort with a number of dedicated facilities and over 400 ski instructors, Alpe d’Huez also boasts a pool, library, cinema, and sports hall, making it as enjoyable off the slopes as on them. For après-ski there are a wide selection of bars and clubs, as well as events and festivals throughout the season.
The Alpe d’Huez slopes go down to 1,100m and up to the 3,330m peak of the Pic de Lac Blanc, the highest point in the region. This monster of a mountain provides a 2000 vertical metre downhill of over 12km down the Oz Enversin. Alpe d’Huez boasts just 50km fewer pistes than Val d'Isère and Tignes combined, the longest trail in the Alps (the 16km-long Sarenne), excellent off-piste, one of Europe's largest nursery areas, modern lifts and good mountain restaurants. In short, whoever you are and however you ski, Alpe d’Huez has something for you. Its glacier ensures snow cover is sufficient for a long season that stretches from early December to late April, so you have plenty of opportunity to exploit the first-rate slopes here.
Ski Discount works with a large number of shops in Alpe d’Huez so you’ve got a good range of equipment and options open to you. Whatever choices you make, Ski Discount will save you time, money, and guarantee you quality apparatus.
