Cheap ski hire Ischgl

If you primary desire for your holiday this year is to have fun, then Ischgl could be just the place you’ve been waiting for. Historically a hotspot for German snowsport enthusiasts, Ischgl has recently experienced a boom in popularity in the UK. This traditional Tirolean style village by day has another character entirely by night, particularly at the start at the end of the season when Ischgl celebrates their open and close with huge music festivals, hosting the likes of Bob Dylan and Rihanna. There is no shortage of après ski here, with bars and clubs all along the main street; try Pacha, where Paris Hilton held her birthday party. There’s truly good food here too, with places like Gasthof Alt Paznaun providing excellent traditional Tirol food, or the Michelin starred Paznaunerstube, which houses over 25,000 bottles of wine in its cellars.
Ischgl is no slouch on the slopes either; the altitude means a good seasons, running from November to May, and the terrain itself covers over 225km. A lot of this is intermediate ground, making it an excellent resort for skiers wanting to improve their skills, while beginners can enjoy the nursery slopes of Ischgl on gentle mid-mountain slopes. Though advanced skiers might be disappointed that there aren’t many truly challenging black runs here, the off-piste and touring opportunities should more than make up for it. Snowboarders too should seriously consider Ischgl, with one of the biggest and best terrain parks in Europe. They have a separate beginner line too, so all abilities of boarders are able to enjoy the Ischgl parks.
If good food, great music, and excellent slopes appeal to you, let SkiDiscount handle the equipment for your Ischgl holiday this year. Book with us for the biggest savings and best equipment, chosen especially for you.
