Cheap ski hire Mayrhofen

A bustling Tyrolean town, Mayrhofen is an attractive little historic resort, typical of the Austrian mountains. Dating back centuries, the town has several thousand permanent inhabitants, so the establishments in Mayrhofen tend to be open all year round. The après ski here is a big part of the resort, with the best places centrally located; Pilzbar and Scotties are always lively, while Brück'n Stadl is a fun twist on Austrian traditions. The selection of restaurants in Mayrhofen is equally good, ranging from Mexican food and pizza joints, to intimate and exclusive high end options.

Mayrhofen has an excellent selection of slopes, it skis as hard as it parties. The area is huge and sitting between two mountains gives it a diversity than many resorts lack. The Ahorn is best for blues and reds, but also boasts an unusually high nursery slope, making in a pleasure to learn on with all the picturesque views. The Penken is larger and takes slightly longer to reach, but the runs are definitely worth it. The off-piste is excellent and generally underpopulated, with a range of terrains for you to explore.
