Ski hire - The Alps

The mountain range of the Alps is the biggest in Europe, peaking at 4,810m at the summit of Mont Blanc. The Alps extend in an arc over 1,200 km and across 8 countries, from France in the south and west to Slovenia in the east, and from Monaco in the south to Germany in the north.
A paradise for European skiers, the Alps offer a huge number of resorts, including the legendary ski areas of Chamonix, Innsbruck, Cortina d'Ampezzo, and Saint Moritz.
The high altitude of the Alps allows deep snow cover in a sufficient quantity and quality to keep slopes open from December to April. Many resorts, such as Val Thorens or Les Deux Alpes, are located on glaciers, allowing them to keep their slopes open for much of the summer.
The Alps are an ideal playground for family and group holidays, with plenty of variety to satisfy everyone from beginner to Olympian. Novices should look to the medium altitude resorts, while more seasoned skiers will be better suited to the steep slopes and off-piste of the higher altitude options.
